Have you seen the mail yet today? With Glasnost it‘s easy to answer this question in the affirmative, because this mailbox, thanks to its large glass front, is quite revealing. Thereby, it combines the best quality with excellent design – literally. That‘s why it was awarded with the FORM 2001 prize. His copious quality is also apparent in his 6.0 kg weight. And even the ears are caressed – the luscious sound of the closing insertion flap speaks for itself. The Glasnost basic body is made of a 1.5 mm stainless steel sheet (the lower flap 2.0 mm), the noble exterior surface is sanded with 240 grit sandpaper. A 6 mm thick pane of glass of glazed one-pane security glass (ESG), produces the necessary transparence. The polished edges emphasize moreover, the prestigious look of Glasnost. Under the insertion flap (as per postal standard), lies a funnel-shaped mail slot, which provides for clean and gentle mail insertion. And so that your mail really remains surrounded by Glasnost until you pick it up, a high-quality security lock – hidden under the insertion flap, and thereby shielded from rain and bothersome freezing – keeps it from the reach of meddlers.

Only by installation is there little Glasnost: all screws and hinges are concealed and thereby invisibly accomodated. The complete installation material is included.

Glasnost is systematically expandable: for the mailbox glasnost.glass there is the compatible newspaper holder (glasnost.newsbox.glass), a company plaque (glasnost.display.glass), and a post (glasnost.stativ). Glasnost is alternatively available with a stainless steel or larch wood front.
